Bodyguards and Assassins

One could argue that there is nothing good coming out of Hong Kong in terms of martial arts movies. Unfortunately Donny Yen will be there to punch his face in. Bodyguards and Assassins is based on a true story but they added some fictional characters. You won't find wall to wall violence but when there is fighting it is good.

You should definitely pull up a chair and watch a piece of history done in a way not to bore you. This is the kick ass version.

Decent 2 Movie Review

There are some things that should just not have a sequel. Decent is one of those movies. There really isn't anything new someone can add to the story. The only option you have to the plot is to send another group down and have them get picked off one by one. Granted they did leave it open for a third movie but with this going straight to video I'm hoping they just end the series.

The special effects, blood, gore really didn't bring anything new to the table and for that I'm a little disappointed.
